A man was taken into custody after crash on Saturday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, a crash occurred on Route 54 near the intersection with Buck Mountain Road, in Mahanoy Township, near Mahanoy City around 8:50am.
Police say the driver, William Skeans, 29, of Mahanoy City lost control of his vehicle due to ice conditions on the roadway. The vehicle went off the right berm of the road, hitting an embankment overturning the vehicle onto it's roof.
Skeans reported injures but refused EMS assistance, a passenger in the vehicle, Georgia Skeans, 39, also of Mahanoy City was also injured and taken via Mahanoy City EMS to the hospital for medical treatment.
Police say Williams Skeans was found to have an active Bench Warrant issued for his arrest from the Schuylkill County District Attorney's office and placed under arrest and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
Assisting at the scene were Mahanoy City Fire, and Ryan Township EMS.
William Skeans will also be cited for the crash, as well as driving without a license to drive.
