Margaret G. Long, 92, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, December 18th, at Laurel Nursing Home, Hamburg.
Margaret was born in Deiberts Valley, Schuylkill Haven, on March 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Susan (Teplon) and John Gaydos.
In addition to her husband, Robert Long, she is preceded in death by a son Gregory Long.
She is survived by a daughter Constance Strause, Auburn; granddaughter Marsha Pietrobono wife of Daniel, Spring Twp., great grandsons Matthew and Andrew Pietrobono; and sister Irene Sabo, Laureldale.

Olga Semanchick, 91, formerly of Frackville and a resident of Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill, Pottsville, passed away peacefully Saturday evening.
Born in Frackville, December 19, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Helen Bresnie Semanchik..
Olga was a graduate of the former Frackville High School and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, New Jersey. In the course of her professional life, she graduated from Columbia University and taught nursing at Rutgers University. She completed graduate school at NYU in elementary education and spent the second half of her career teaching elementary school in Newark, New Jersey.
She was an avid reader and traveler, she generously supported numerous educational, social and medical organizations locally and nationally.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother John, sister, Betty Motz, and an infant brother, Russell.
Olga is survived by a brother, Ted; New Port Richey, FL; sisters; Helen Polanchyck, Danville and Sonja Mucha, Hancock, N.H.; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Private Services for immediate family will be held at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville with Rev. James Jadick, as celebrant. Drinda E Swab. age 60, of Hegins, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at her residence.
She was born on Wednesday, November 21, 1956, in Spring Glen, a daughter of Clayton W C Shade and June I Herb Shade of Sacramento.
She had been employed as a seamstress at the former Bobbie Rogers Garment Factory, Wiconisco.
She was a member of the Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen.
She was a former Brownie Leader.
Drinda enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crafts, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Shade.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband Allan L Swab, to whom she was married for 40 years.
She is also survived by two daughters, Bronwen E Whalen and her companion Steve Kleeman of Mar Lin, and Ronica A Troutman and her husband Randy of Valley View; grandsons, Caleb and Blake; granddaughters, Lauren and Eliza; a brother, Marlin Shade of Sacramento; a sister, Diane Labenski of Sacramento; and several nieces and nephews.
