Erma G Kauffman, age 97, of Hegins, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on Wednesday, February 5, 1919, in Upper Mahanoy Twp, Northumberland County, a daughter of the late George M Howerter and the late Amanda Rebuck Howerter.

She was a 1937 graduate of the former Pine Park High School.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman.

Erma enjoyed gardening; she loved her vegetables and her flowers.

Her husband Charles L Kauffman passed away in 1980. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband and her parents were a brother, George W Howerter; and three sisters Mary Hornberger, Emma Kehres, and Stella Welker.

She is survived by a niece, Eva Kerstetter; two great nieces, Ruby J Shepley and Joyce Deeben; a dear friend and caregiver, Stella Mohan; other special friends and neighbors; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman, on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the church.

Burial will be made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.

Even though Erma loved flowers memorial contributions in lieu of flowers should be made to the Memorial Fund of St. James Lutheran Church, 153 Main St, Pitman PA 17964.

Pennee M. Morris, 71, Ashland, PA passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Born in Homestead, PA September 25, 1945, the daughter of the late John and Edna (Dunn) Odrey. She worked as an executive secretary for Mesta Machines in West Homestead until marriage and was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Homestead, PA.

She is survived by her loving husband Barry Morris, who she married on September 7, 1968. Also surviving is her loving daughter, Chris Ann Veach, wife of Carl; 2 brothers: John Odrey, husband of Carol, and Tony Dattola, husband of Tamara. Beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and BFF. She was preceded in death by a beloved sister, Connie Yanovich.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 7:30 PM at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA with Rev. David Grant officiating. Visitation 6:00-7:30 from the Funeral Home. Interment at the convenience of the family in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg, PA.

Maynard E. Haas, 76, of Gowen CIty, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Maynard was born in Ashland, on November 28, 1940, a son of the late Mary (Hepler) and Clifford Artman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loree (Urban) Haas in 1994.

He graduated from the Ashland High School and served with the U.S. Army.

Maynard was employed as a Truck Driver for multiple companies for 20-30 years. He was employed by ELCO, and also worked as a coal miner

He was a member of the Cedar Lodge #378 F. & A.M, Mount Carmel, the VFW as well as the Harley Owners Group and other various local organizations. He will be remembered for his love of motorcycles.

Surviving are three children, Jeffrey Haas of Gowen City, Lori Vinitski and her husband Tom, of Lansdale and Tammy Lesher and her husband Dean of Ashland; Grandchildren, Derick Haas and his wife Mindy, Kyle Haas and his wife Samantha, Matt Haas, Alexandra and Zachary Vinitski Allison and Bryon Rusinko and Deana Lesher; one Great Granddaughter Amelia Haas; one Brother Clifford P. Artman and his wife Carol Ann; a niece and nephews and his faithful companion Pickles.

He was preceded in death by a grandson Brandon Haas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10- 11 AM at St. Paul's Reformed U.C.C, Gowen City, where the memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jerry Schlegel officiating. Lorraine C. Fetterolf, 88, of Klingerstown, PA passed away Sunday, December 4th, at Heritage Mill Personal Care Home, Tower City.

Lorraine was born in Lavelle, PA on December 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Maude (Pennypacker) and Elmer Reinoehl.

She was the widow of Mark D. Fetterolf.

She was a member of Salem Church of Rough and Ready Klingerstown, and had taught Sunday School for many years at Christ Church.

She was employed as a seamstress in factories in Gratz and Valley View and also was active in the daily operations of the family farm.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting and needle work, cooking and baking and shopping.

Lorraine is survived by a daughter, Peggy, wife of Herbert Borchert, of Valley View; three sons Dennis, husband of Ruby Fetterolf, of Klingerstown; Charles , husband of Linda Fetterolf, of Klingerstown; David Fetterolf, of Klingerstown; a son-in-law Roger Hess; 8 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Hess; and was the last surviving member of 9 siblings

Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10-11 AM at Salem Church of Rough and Ready, 11 Church Rd., Klingerstown, where the funeral will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating. Interment will follow at Hepler's Church of God Cemetery, Pitman, PA.

Jeanne V. Kramer, 82, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Jeanne was born in Auburn, Dec. 8, 1933, a daughter of the late John and Meta Reinheimer Sweigert. She was the widow of Joseph Dabashinsky.

She was a former member of the Auburn Church of God.

Jeanne was a graduate of Auburn High School, Class of 1951, and was formerly employed by the Hamburg State School and hospital as an aide.

Jeanne was the last member of her immediate family.

She is survived by children, Thomas Kramer, husband of Susan, Orwigsburg, David Kramer, Schuylkill Haven, Beth Guris, wife of Martin, Ephrata, and James Kimmel, Minersville; grandchildren, Justin, Danielle, Alisha, Regina and Jarrod; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cressona Cemetery, Cressona. Ina Mae Nunziata, 88, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 4, in the Tremont Health and Rehab. Center.

Born on May 29, 1928, in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Theresa Noll Bender.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Anton F Nunziata on May 28, 2009, and two brothers, Earl Bender and Jim Bender

Surviving are three Sisters, Clara, Grumbine of Myerstown, Gladys, wife of Roland Klinger of Spring Glen, Shirley wife of Bob Kroh,of Lincoln: two Brothers, Donald Bender of Joliett and Larry and wife Bonnie Bender of Lincoln, two sisters-in-law, Elaine Bender of Lincoln and Jean Bender of Pine Grove; Nieces and nephews,.

Services will be held at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., on Thursday, December 8, at 12:00 pm with Pastor Ken Melber officiating. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 7, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Sheri Lynn Titus, 50, of Williamstown, passed away early Sunday morning.

Born in Harrisburg, January 29, 1966, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Dauberman Riegel.

Before becoming ill Sheri worked at the former Rips Country Deli and Umholtz Grocery Store.

Sheri attended Williams Valley High School; she was a member Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, Gratz and the Assembly of God Church, Millersburg, where she was active with the feed my sheep program. Sheri enjoyed playing card games, Bingo and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister Kathy A. Riegel.

Surviving are her husband, Donavon Titus; two children, Brandon Riegel and Autumn Titus, both of Williamstown; a sister, Connie Segrist, West Virginia; Nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am from Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 at the chapel.
