Gloria attended Orwigsburg High School and went on to teach at Ford Business School where she met and fell in love with one of her students, Howard W. Stine. She was employed by Attorney Guy Waltman and later worked as a secretary for Seltzer Insurance Company and at St. Paul's Church office.
As a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Orwigsburg, Gloria sang in the church choir for many years. She regularly played the piano, even in her latest years. Many will remember her as a very musical lady with a beautiful voice. Anyone lucky enough knew that Gloria was a terrific cook and that her baked goods, especially her apple pies, were legendary.
Gloria was predeceased by her loving husband, Howard, her parents and her brother, Robert J. (Bob) Keller.
Family meant everything to her and those she left behind will miss her dearly:

her daughter, Cynthia S., wife of Lester Rhen, Jr., of Schuylkill Haven,
her son Martin D., husband of Jacqueline Stine, of Landingville,
her son Thomas E., husband of Lenore Stine, of Bethlehem,
her 5 grandchildren (Tanya, Heidi, Danielle, Erica and Elyssa), 6 great grandchildren (Taylor, Abigail, Joseph, Keenan, Nico and Yannick) and nieces and nephews.
Gloria is also survived by her sister-in-law, Almeda (Dolly) Keller, of Orwigsburg.
A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 16th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Orwigsburg with Rev. Lee A. Diefenderfer officiating. Friends are invited to call from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 156, 215 N. Catherine M. Corson, 92, of Schoentown, passed away on Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill – South.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late George and Ida Mae Jacoby Burck. She was a 1943 graduate of Pottsville High School, and worked for a time at the former Pottsville Farmers’ Market, now the Majestic Theater. Following her marriage, she devoted herself to caring for her family.
She was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville. She was also a member of the St. Cecilia Choir at the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Minersville.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Corson, on Christmas Day, 2008; a granddaughter, Tara Corson; three siblings, William Burck, who was killed in World War Two, Regina Weand and Edna Buggy.
Surviving are her children, Mary Ann Harding (William), Washington, Indiana, Regina Crochunis (Anthony), Pottsville, William Corson (Cynthia) Barnesville, and Joseph Corson (Suzanne), Pottsville; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Klinger, Pottsville; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 6:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township.

Ray L Wolfgang, age 89, of Valley View, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on Tuesday, November 8, 1927, in Rough and Ready, a son of the late Harvey V Wolfgang and the late Katie Mattern Wolfgang.
He was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.
He was a bookkeeper for the former A A Shade Egg Processing, Spring Glen, and retired as a bookkeeper for Gold Mills, Pine Grove.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
He was also a member of F&AM Valley Lodge 797, Valley View.
Ray enjoyed hunting, collecting sports cards, and metal detecting.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were four brothers, Cleon Wolfgang, Norman Wolfgang, Guy Wolfgang, and Paul Wolfgang; and four sister, Elda Troutman, Iva Wolfgang, Gertie Deibler, and Dorothy Schreffler.
He is survived by his wife Tillie F Harner Wolfgang, to whom he was married for 54 years.
He is also survived by a daughter, Sandra E Lucas and her husband James of Hegins; a grandson, Douglas Lucas and his wife Angie of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View, on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Floyd Sollenberger officiating.
