Penn Mahoning Ambulance Association, New Ringgold, was the recipient of a generous grant from Firehouse
Subs Public Safety Foundation which provided three automated external defibrillators (AEDs)
and two suction units.
The equipment will be used to replace units on their ambulances which
are over 15 years old.
The lifesaving donation provided will allow their ambulance association to
better serve their residents and to fight sudden cardiac arrest which is responsible for hundreds
of thousands of deaths each year.
Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has awarded more
than 1,200 AEDs to organizations across the country in 2016.
"We are grateful to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and all the donated
equipment will proudly bear the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation logo" said Penn Mahoning Ambulance.
