According to the Republican Herald, an auction for the Schuylkill Mall has been scheduled for January 24th, 2017 at 10:00am at the office of William G. Schwab, 811 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive East, Lehighton.
Schwab is the lawyer who is serving as the trustee in bankruptcy in the case and will conduct the auction.
Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert N. Opel II will hold a sale hearing at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 25 in Wilkes-Barre.
The owner of the mall, Empire Schuylkill LP, filed for bankruptcy in October 2016.
Anyone interested in submitted a bid but do so by January 17th, 2017 at 5:00pm.
