Born Tuesday, November 19, 1918 in Coaldale, the daughter of the late John, and Rose (Zebian) McGeehan, she was also predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Jones; brother, Mr. John P. "Jack" McGeehan.
Surviving is her niece and caregiver, Mrs. Rose Petryk of Cresco; nephews, William Jones of Allentown, John P. McGeehan of Coaldale.
Marie was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua and the former St. Mary's R.C.C. of Coaldale. She worked at the former Kiddie Kloes of Lansford, and was a member of the Polish Club of Coaldale.

Lee Koppenhaver, 62, of Ashland, PA passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Geisinger-Shamokin Hospital, Shamokin, PA. Born in Ashland, PA November 15, 1954 the son of the late John and Anna Knauf Koppenhafer. He was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School in 1972 and Williamsport Area Community College. He was presently employed at World Resources Co. Pottsville, PA. He was a VFW Social Member. He was a Penn State Fan and a hunter. He loved history and watching Pirates games.

Joseph Beury, 82, of the Ashland Area, PA passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA Born in Barry Twp, PA August 10, 1934 the son of the late Joseph L. and Emma Mae Neumeister Beury. He attended Barry Twp and Tri Valley schools and worked as a coal miner in local mines. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Mae A. Killian who died in 2001; and brothers and sisters: George, Lewis D., Mary, Dorothy, Elmer, Elsworth, Gilbert, Harry, and Kenneth. He is survived by a son and daughter: James Beury, Harrisburg, PA; and Jean Bolich, Schuylkill Haven, PA ; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA. Interment at Kimmels Cemetery, Barry Twp,. Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Patrick and Ellen Brennan McDonald. He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah.
Pat served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Pat was a diehard New York Yankees and Penn State fan. He was an umpire for District 24 Baseball where he mostly umpired for Ashland Little and Teener Leagues. He also served as the treasurer for Ashland Little League for many years.
He was preceded in death by his son Brian P. McDonald and his sister Loretta Silva.
Pat is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Miller McDonald, Shenandoah; two sons: Fred and his wife Hope McDonald, Girardville, Billy McDonald and his fiancé Lisa Horst, both of Ashland; his daughter Bridget McDonald, Girardville; his sister Annabelle and her husband Terry Price of Gordon; two brothers: Michael and his wife Theresa McDonald, James and his wife Cheryl McDonald, Harrisburg; his grandson Liam McDonald and his beloved dog Sammy; many nieces/nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Shenandoah with Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment with full military honors will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends may call at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be no calling hours on Friday morning.
