Born Saturday, December 1, 1962 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania son of John Fagan and his wife Madeline of Portland Maine, and the late Dorothy (Ohl) Fagan-Nothstein. He was also predeceased by his step-father, Ronald Nothstein.
A Panther Valley High School graduate, John was an avid outdoorsman who liked to hunt and fish. John served honorably in the United States Marines, and was a member of the Coaldale American Legion.
Surviving; brother, Gary Nothstein of Tamaqua; sister, Patricia Ann Valedon and her husband Steven Uher of Coaldale; niece Alisha Valedon, and nephew Erik Uhler as well as many friends, aunts, and uncles.

Sheryl Sabol, 54, of Mount Carmel, PA, passed away Saturday, January 28, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Sheryl was born in Mahanoy City, PA on March 27, 1962, a daughter of Joseph Sabol and the late Rose (Bulchie) Sabol.

In addition to her father, Sheryl is survived by a sister, Rita, husband of Steve Shalamanda, of Ashland, and a nephew Stephen.

Margaret was a homemaker and a caregiver to others.
She was a member of Primitive United Methodist Church, Tamaqua where she was a choir member. She enjoyed singing and doing crossword puzzles.
Margaret was a West Pittston High School graduate and a former Salvation Army officer.

Frank D. Russell, age 57, of New Ringgold, formerly of Mahanoy City, died Saturday at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading. Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital he was the son of the late Robert & Patricia (Mika) Russell. He was a 1977 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and also the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing. He was a 30 year United States Army veteran having recieved basic officer training in 1982 and completing Army advanced training in 1993. He was a surgical nurse during Operation Desert Storm having retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a member of the Good American Hose Company # 3 of Mahanoy City. Survivors include his wife of 35 years the former Linda Oswald, a son Frank and his wife Ashley of Mahanoy City, a daughter Angela Neifert and her husband Kyle of Belle Vernon, PA, sisters MaryAnne Moore and her husband Michael of Pottsville, Patricia Coughlin and her husband Barry of St. Clair, brothers Robert of Allenwood, Ronald and his wife Scarlett of St. Clair, Michael and his wife Kristine of Frackville, 4 grandchildren Ava and Vienna Russell and Gia and Logan Neifert, many neices and nephews and his chihuahua Lola. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Saturday morning at 10 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. Interment with military honors will be held Monday 2 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late Otavio and Domenica (Siliquini) Angelozzi. She was a 1942 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and retired from the former Ashland State Hospital where she was supervisor of the dietary department. She was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City and the Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her first husband Michael F. Jakubac Sr. and her second husband Edward J. Brazinsky, a son Richard J. Jakubac, 2 sisters Alvera Scarlato, Louise Hartung, and 2 brothers Joseph and Dominick Angelozzi. Survivors include a son Michael F. Jakubac of Annapolis Maryland with whom she resided, a sister Adeline Llewelyn and her husband Jack of Reading, 4 grandchildren Jennifer Johnson, Linda McLoud, Michael D. Jakubac and Jerry Ryba, 7 great grandchildren Austin McLoud, Georgie Johnson, Addison Jakubac, Bray McLoud, Gavin Johnson, Gabriella Jakubac and Chaz Ryba, nieces and nephews. Nathan B. “ Nate “ Bilsky, 71, Girardville passed away unexpectedly Monday at his residence.
Born in the former Ashland Hospital he was the son of the late Bernard and Catherine ( Dolan ) Bilsky. He had been employed as a custodian at the former Cardinal Brennan Jr/Sr. High School, Fountain Springs. Prior to working at Cardinal Brennan he was employed by the former Girardville Community Center and was well known for his roller-skating skills at the center.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Girardville, now St. Charles Borromeo Parish.
Nate is survived by his sister Bernadette Vevasis, Girardville, two nephews; Joe and his wife Jessica Vevasis, Shenandoah Heights and Mike Vevasis, Girardville. A great-niece and nephew Alyssa and Joey Vevasis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Girardvillesacred worship center of St Charles Borromeo Parish with Rev. Edmund Brennan as the celebrant Interment will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of mass.
