Man Admits Firing Gun During Incident
On Saturday 01/07/17, Kristopher Negron, 21, of Pottsville was transported from a medical facility in Lehigh Valley to Magisterial District Judge Reiley’s office for his preliminary arraignment. Bail was set at $200,000 and he was remanded to the SCP.
Prior to the arraignment arresting officer Det. Kirk Becker interviewed Negron and he admitted to having fired a .38 revolver at Daiquen Price, 25 after the two had been arguing inside Sarges Soup and Sandwich on Friday, January 6th, 2016.

Burglary Suspect Taken into Custody
On Friday December 23, 2016 Pottsville Bureau of Police officers were called to a residential burglar alarm at 1603 W. Mahantongo Street.
Upon arrival and contact with the residence key holder, it was discovered that someone had gained illegal entry into the home and fled prior to police arrival.
An investigation including the use of surveillance footage video led to the identification of Jonah Modesto, 35, of Reading as being the actor who broke into the residence.
An arrest warrant was obtained by Ptlm Bryce Lewis charging Modesto with attempted Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Theft.
On Friday, 01/06/17, Modesto was taken into custody pursuant to the arrest warrant issued in this case and he was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Reiley then locked up in Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
