Schuylkill County Police Log for 01/27/17
On Friday, January 6, 2017 around 04:10am, the Orwigsburg Police Department stopped a vehicle displaying a fraudulent license plate in the 200 Block of East Market Street.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, Kory Kocher, 37, from Fleetwood, had a suspended driver’s license and no insurance on the vehicle.
In addition, Kocher had also used another plate to conceal the fact that the plate belonging on his vehicle expired in 2014. Furthermore, Kocher was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
A passenger in Kocher's vehicle, Daniel Readinger Jr., 41, of Hamburg, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Charges were filed on both; however, a warrant has been issued for Readinger.

Two Charged for Retail Theft
Misdemeanor conspiracy to commit retail theft charges were filed against one suspect, Jason Ryan, 39 of Orwigsburg.
Meanwhile, a felony warrant for retail theft has been issued for Justen Davis, 28 of Pine Grove. Davis is known to frequent the Schuylkill Haven and Pottsville areas and is believed to be homeless.

As a result of the search, Officers recovered several bags of suspected methamphetamine, U.S. currency, and drug paraphernalia.
At the time the search warrant was executed, Robert Miller had 3 active criminal arrest warrants from Schuylkill and 1 from Northumberland County.

He was transported to Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko's office and was arraigned on two previous drug charges. Miller's bail was set at $50,000 straight cash bail for each charge.
Miller was transported to the Schuylkill County Prison where he was being held on bail.
On 01/24/17 additional criminal charges were filed on Miller from the results of the search warrant. Additional charges of 1 felony count of Possession with Intent to Deliver a
Controlled Substance, 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 1 count of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Plachko and bail was set at $50,000 straight cash bail.
Miller was incarcerated at the Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of his bail.
