(03/23/17) The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a light accumulation of sleet and freezing rain.
The advisory is in effect from 4 AM to 11 AM EDT Friday.
* TIMING...From late tonight through mid to late Friday morning.
* HAZARDS...Patchy freezing rain with some sleet also possible.
* ACCUMULATIONS...A trace to one tenth of an inch of ice and
sleet.
* TEMPERATURES...Upper 20s to near 30 overnight.
* IMPACTS...A thin layer of freezing rain and sleet can bring icy spots on untreated roads, parking lots and walkways.
