UPDATE: The stabbing has been reported to have been self inflicted and ruled a suicide.
According to authorities, emergency personnel were called to 124 Main Street, Gilberton, on Friday evening around 7:00pm where they found a man with a stab wound to his chest. The man was transported to a waiting helicopter where he later died before being transported.
No other details are available at the time of this posting, more information will be available after the Pennsylvania State Police investigate the scene.
