Charles E Kline, age 94, of Spring Glen, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on Wednesday, March 28, 1923, in Valley View, a son of the late Ray Kline and the late Martha Schaeffer Kline.
Charlie worked for Pine Creek Coal Company for thirty years, and then worked for Halmark Homes, Pine Grove Homes, and retired from Imperial Homes. He also was a farmer throughout his life.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.
He was also a member of the Uf und Druf Hunting Camp and the White Ash Land Association both of Sullivan County.
Charlie enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and attending local high school sports.
His wife Dolores Kessler Kline passed away in 1984. He was also preceded in death by his parents; by four brothers Roy Kline, Warren Kline, Clayton Kline, and Clair Kline; and by a sister Verna Shadle.
He is survived by a son, David C Kline and his wife Stacy of Spring Glen; a grandson, Gavin D Kline and his companion Casey Masser of Spring Glen; a sister, Ethel Chubb of Lykens; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, April 21, 2017, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.

Ethel B. Wargula Krupa, age 80, of Key Largo, Florida, passed away April 10, 2017 at Baptist Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Coaldale, Pa., Ethel was the daughter of the late Bernard Denesevich and Ethel (Budda) Denesevich. Ethel grew up in Quakake, Pa. and Hazleton, Pa. Three brothers and John J. Wargula and John Krupa preceded her in death. A retired Licensed Practical Nurse, she was a 28 year resident of SilverShores, Key Largo, Florida.
Ethel is survived by a daughter, Deb Sanders, Bloomsburg, Pa., and two sons, Barry Wargula, New Ringgold, Pa. and Randy Wargula, Savannah, Ga. and four grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Zachary, and Aaron.
Friends are invited to a public viewing at Allen-Beyer Funeral Home, Key Largo, Fl. On April 22, 2017 from 9:30am-10:30am followed by a funeral mass at 12:00noon at San Pedro Catholic Church, Tavernier.
Private Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services 211 First St., Weatherly, PA.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery, Weatherly, Pa.

Catherine M. (Armbruster) Burrell, age 93, of Hazleton, formerly of Tamaqua, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village, Hazleton.
She was the widow of Henry E. Burrell.
Catherine served her country during WWII as a Communication Specialist with the U.S. Navy.
She was a Coaldale High School graduate and a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C.
Born in Philadelphia on June 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George Armbruster and the late Mary (Bonner) Armbruster.
She is survived by her;
Son, Ken Burrell and his wife Kathleen of Rockville, MD;
Daughter,Peggy Valentine of Tamaqua;
Eight Grandchildren;
Four Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Joan Ann Rissinger on 5/14/2016 and Karen Burrell on 7/1/2016; brothers, George and Charles Armbruster.
