Two Charged After Not Complying with Fingerprinting Requirements
West Mahanoy Township Police have filed charges against two individuals as a result of an investigation regarding mandatory fingerprinting. Police were alerted by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency regarding several individuals failing to comply with fingerprinting requirements after being arrested. Investigation into this complaint revealed that Jesse Smith, Ashland, and Roberto Hernandez, Shenandoah, failed to be fingerprinted as required after a previous arrest. Smith and Hernandex will have to answer to a charge of Default in Required Appearance before MDJ Kilker, Shenandoah.
