Just before 6:00pm, Monday, emergency personnel were called to Lehr’s Feed & Farm Supplies, at 10 Snyder Avenue, for a fully involved commercial fire.
Police were the first on scene where they found flames shooting 20 feet into the air.
The fire was quickly upgraded to a 2nd alarm calling in additional units from Schuylkill Haven, Minersville, as well as Pottsville for the RIT. Crews were still as night fell.
The business was closed at the time of the fire and a State Police Fire Marshall has been called to find a cause of the fire.
