The mom of three children involved in a child neglect case last month, is now facing drug charges after she was found with meth.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Friday, 05/26/17, around 4:40pm, Tiffany George, 26, of Cressona, contacted the Schuylkill Haven barracks demanding to speak with a supervisor.
Police say George had contacted PSP numerous times throughout the day saying that there were police officers with cameras and sniper rifles watching her from the woods across the street from her house.
Troopers responded to the residence on Chestnut St. in North Manheim Twp. and spoke with George.
Officers at the scene reported that George was acting very erratic and seemed extremely paranoid and was still hallucinating about police offers in a wooded area across the street.
Schuylkill-We-Help was contacted and a caseworker respond to the scene.
Upon the caseworker’s arrival, George became even more erratic and a 302 warrant was issued by the case worker.
George was taken into custody at the residence.
While at the scene, Troopers observed George remove a clear plastic baggie from her pants pocket and attempt to discard it. The baggie was seized and the substance inside field tested positive for methamphetamine.
George was transported to Lehigh Valley Medical Center Schuylkill South on the 302 warrant and was released to their custody. charges of being in possession of a controlled substance were filed against George with Magisterial District Judge James R. Ferrier.
George is the mother of 3 children involved in a child neglect case from earlier this month where the children were left home alone, one a 1 day old, another was locked in a makeshift cage.
