Police are still looking for a suspect that robbed a Frackville bank Friday morning.
Authorities say that around 9:00am, a man walked into the Miners Bank, Frackville, and handed a teller a note demanding money.
The teller handed the suspect an unknown amount of money, then the suspect fled the scene on foot onto Spruce Street.
A suspicious package was also left behind, prompting the calling of bomb squad, which after investigation was ruled harmless.
Police helicopters were also seen flying over Frackville searching for the suspect. The Schuylkill North Vo-Tech was also on lock down while the area was searched.
As of 4:30pm, Police and investigators were still at the scene and the bank's property was still marked off with police tape.
No description of the suspect has been given at this time.
