Police say the vandalism occurred between May 1st 6pm and May 2nd 10am at St Johns Lutheran Church, Brandonville.
Numerous tombstones were pushed over and destroyed in the incident.
Anyone with information or may have seen a vehicle or persons enter the cemetery is asked to call police at 570-384-5829.
