According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 10:00am, Krystal Schantz, 26, of Minersville was travelling on Brockton Mountain when she fell asleep, travelled off the road, and struck a tree.
Schantz was able to exit the vehicle on her own but was flown to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest for her injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Ryan Township Fire and EMS. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Grutza Interstate Towing.
