"My Final Request when God Takes Me"
When I have passed and cease to be
Please don't kill a flower for me
To deck my casket lid or grave
And leave with heat or cold to brave.
Instead if you-must plant a small shrub or tree
Or a pack of perennial seeds you will see
When they grow into flowers that sway in the air
some gentle reminders to say a short prayer.
You won't see me resting my lid will be closed
The ritual simple-already proposed.
Remember me smiling and living each day
And Please at the end let me do it my way.
Thank you all for being a part of my life.
