Early Sunday morning, Police arrested a wanted man in Schuylkill County.
According to Ashland Police, Chief Mark O'Hearn was on patrol early Sunday morning when around 3:45am, O'Hearn observed an orange cadillac driving in the area of 11th and Walnut Streets several times.
Later O'Hearn found the vehicle parked on South 11th Street in Ashland with 2 males inside with the headlights on for several minutes.
Police stopped to check on the occupants and found that one of the occupants, Ian Hartz, 30, of Pittsburgh, PA, was a wanted person in Schuylkill County.
Hartz was taken into custody by Chief O'Hearn and transported to Schuylkill County Prison and was jailed on outstanding Probation/Parole Warrant.
Ashland Police were assisted by Domestic Relations Deputy Robert Phillips and the Mount Carmel Township Police.
