According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 11:00am, Thomas Goodson, 60, was riding his 2005 Harley Davidson Road King, with Patricia Delicastro, 59, both from Maryland, on Interstate 81 Southbound near Milemarker 130.
Goodson's motorcycle blew a tire and was unable to control the bike, and entered the median flipping end over end, ejecting both riders.
Goodson was reported to have suffered serious injuries in the crash and was flown to the hospital.
Belicastra was reported to have suffered minor injuries
Both were wearing helmets.
McAdoo Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.
