The Hope Hill Lavender Farm, located at 2375 Panther Valley Road, Pottsville, is an organically grown lavender farm, which produces culinary lavender, health, beauty and home products.
On Saturday, August 26th, 2017, they held an event called the Harry Hee Haw Story Time where children were able to hear the story of Harry Hee Haw and also meet some of the donkeys on the farm.
During the event, children listened to a reading of the book Harry Hee Haw by Lois Smith and then afterwards we got introduced to the Hope Hill Donkey's Maurice, Gomez and Jóse.
The donkeys spent time greeting all the children and adults. Children also got to meet the horses and chickens of the farm.
After story time and meeting the animals they welcomed you to explore and enjoy the farm.
The farm offers a beautiful gift shop where they sell homemade products from lavender honey (from their own bee's), maple syrups, soaps, homemade essential oils, dried lavender and so much more.
