On Saturday, August 19th, 2017, the Ashland Pioneer Tunnel held their 25th Annual Pioneer Day.The event ran from 10:00am to 5:00pm and drew hundreds of people to Higher Ups Park and the Coal Mine.
The event included local vendors, food, entertainment, music, pony rides, and a petting zoo.
The Coal Mine, Lokie, and Antracite Museum were also open.
