Residents ages 55 and older in the 125th District are invited to attend Rep. Mike Tobash’s (R-Schuylkill/Dauphin) fourth annual Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Pine Grove Hose Hook and Ladder, located at 1 Orchard St., in Pine Grove. More than 40 vendors are expected.
“I always look forward to this event because it allows our area seniors the opportunity to connect with services and resources that are available to help improve their lives, and they are located close to home,” Tobash said.
The Office of Attorney General will offer a “Top 10 Scams” seminar at 10:30 a.m. and noon. The Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Office will again provide a prescription drug drop-off box.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. There is no admission fee to attend. Door prizes and refreshments will be available. Caregivers are welcome to accompany senior residents who require assistance.
