Good Samaritan Robbed at Gunpoint in Butler Township Monday Night

Police are looking for a man who stole a good samaritan's vehicle at gunpoint Monday night in Butler Township.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 10:00pm, the victim, a Pottsville man, was travelling near Gordon when in the area of Gordon Road and Dutchtown Road, the victim
stopped his vehicle along the roadway to offer help to a man laying on the side of the roadway.

The man then pulled a gun and a knife out and threatened the victim into giving him a ride.

Upon reaching the suspect's destination, he had the victim exit the vehicle and the suspect then drove off with the victims' vehicle.

The suspect was described as a white male, mid 20's, wearing a neon green hoodie, neon green bandana, and blue jeans with a buzz cut style hair.

The stolen vehicle is described as a Forest Green 2004 Jeep Liberty with PA Registration KJP3232.
