As of 11:45am Tuesday, hundreds are without power after high winds and heavy rain blew through early Tuesday morning.
According to PPL, over 800 homes are without power.
The majority of the outage is within Rush Township, which also includes the Marian Catholic High School.
School officials closed the school before the day began due to the outage.
