According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, Billy Pena, 33, of Mount Carmel was traveling on Route 901 on Wednesday around 8:15am.
Pena had just crossed from Northumberland County into Butler Township, Schuylkill County near Lavelle when he crested a hill and lost control of his motorcycle and fell onto it's side.
The motorcycle and Pena slide into a guiderail ejecting Pena.
Pena was transported to the hospital for leg and hand injuries he suffered in the crash. He was reported to have been wearing a helmet.
