Born in Pottsville, he was the son of Craig E. and Shirley J. (Bordner) Morgan of Sacramento, PA.
He was a 2000 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
Christian worked as a driver for UPS.
He was a member the Free Masons of Valley View, Sons of The American Legion, Post 575, VFW of Valley View, Post 8237, and the Valley View Gun Club.
Christian loved the outdoors. He loved practicing shooting and riding motorcycles with his daughter, Khloey. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Chester L. and Jean M. Morgan, Hegins; daughter, Khloey E. Morgan, Millersburg; two siblings: Gregg Lee Morgan, Sacramento; and Brandie A. Whitman, Monroeville; best friends: Heather and Matthew Deeter, Hegins; and Nathan and Shara Stoltzfus, Sacramento.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in Buffington Reed Funeral Home at 200 West Main Street, Valley View, PA 17983. A viewing will be held from 9-11 a.m. in Buffington Reed Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Christian's memory to Sons of the American Legion, Post 575, 1075 W. Main St, Valley View, PA 17983. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with arrangements.
John J. "Jack" Myro, age 71, of Pottsville, PA passed away Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at Schuylkill Center.
Born in Pottsville, PA on June 26, 1946, he was the son of the late Michael M. and Elizabeth M. (Hallick) Myro.
Jack worked as a heavy equipment operator, working mostly for Mazucca Enterprizes in Pottsville. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saint Clair and he was an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Michael Myro.
Jack is survived by his wife of 51 years, Catherine C. (Schaurers) Myro, Pottsville; 2 sons: John J. Myro Jr. and his fiance' Maria Mason, Cressona; Brian K. Myro, Middleport; daughter Janet C. Myro, Pottsville; 3 granddaughters: Justine, Jaimie, and Amanda Myro; a grandson Brian K. Myro Jr.; a great-granddaughter Jenievie Myro; 2 brothers: Bernard Myro, New Philadelphia and Robert Myro, Schoentown; a sister Rose Bradley and her husband Ted, Schoentown; and nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon at 8PM on Wednesday October 4th.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8Pm at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held private.
