Ralph M Snyder, age 66, of Hegins, passed away surrounded by his family, Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center.
He was born on Tuesday, July 31, 1951, in Eldred Twp, a son of the late Earl Snyder and the late Helen Mattern Snyder.
He was a 1969 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a 1973 graduate of Bloomsburg University.
He was a financial advisor for Nationwide Insurance working with the Tobash Insurance Agency.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.
Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family. His life was complete when he became a pappy. He loved nothing more than spending time with his four grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, playing cards, and following Tri-Valley Athletics, Phillies baseball, and Penn State football.
He is survived by his wife Vicki R Kimmel Snyder, to whom he was married for 43 years.
He is also survived by two sons, Brock M Snyder and his wife Kristen of Millersburg and Colby B Snyder of Sacramento; a daughter, Amber B Fine and her husband Jeffrey of Palmyra; three grandsons, Jack M Fine, Sebastian M Snyder, and Sawyer D Snyder; a granddaughter, Halle R Fine; a sister, Dolores Jones and her husband Ronald of Klingerstown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Brian Beissel officiating.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Tri-Valley Youth Activities Fund, P.O. Box 210, Sacramento PA 17968.

Wendell O. "Skip" Kranch, Sr., 76 years of age, formerly of Tamaqua, passed away onThursday, October 5, 2017, at Geisenger Medical Center in Danville, having been a guest at Broad Mountain Nursing Home in Frackville for the past few years.
Surviving are; sons, Christopher Kranch of Tamaqua, David Kranch of New Ringgold, Wendel Kranch and his wife Ciera of Orwigsburg, Michael Kranch and his companion Amanda Scheutrum of Park Place; daughters, Lisa Kranch of Barnesville, and Krystal L. Sandatch wife of Robert of Mahanoy City; brothers, Terry Kranch of Tamaqua, Blair Kranch of Tamaqua, and Timothy Kleckner and his wife Sandy of Tamaqua; sister, Kimberly Faust and her husband Dan; 19 grand children; 4 great grand children.
Skip worked construction jobs for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Born Saturday, September 27, 1941 in Coaldale, the son of the late Wendell L. Kranch, and F. June (Ohl) Kranch. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Christine.

Jack Shuttlesworth, 31, of Ashland, PA entered into eternal rest surrounded by the things that brought him peace and joy on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 in Ryan Twp., PA.
Larger than life in stature, he has left a huge hole in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Jack graduated from North Schuylkill and attended the Pennsylvania State University. While at Penn State, he served in various positions in student life and received national recognition for his service.
He was last employed by the Amazon distribution center in Hazelton and Jack Frost Mountain as a ski instructor.
Jack was involved with the Youth ministry at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ashland and the Ashland Little League serving as its treasurer for a time. Jack's passions were skiing and teaching children to ski.
He is survived by his father John Shuttlesworth, his mother Mary Shuttlesworth and a brother, Aaron Shuttlesworth, all of Ashland. Surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, N. 9th St., Ashland, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 10th, with Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery Ft. Springs, PA at the convenience of the family.
