Helen Kurtz, 99, of Mahanoy City passed away at her daughter's home in Wilmington Delaware on August 25, 2017.
She is survived by her daughter Jean Salve and is predeceased by her husband, Elmer and son John.
She is further survived by her 7 Grandchildren; Maria Rose (Mitchell), Ann Neilson (Douglas), James M Salve (Susanne), Christine Campbell (David), John Kurtz Jr. (Lora), Stephanie Minzola (Mark), Mary Grebe (Robert) 20 great grandchildren; Sofia Rose. Vincent Rose, Sarah Maida, Andrew Neilson, William Neilson, Thomas Neilson, David Campbell, Jakob Campbell, Angelina Kurtz, John Kurtz, Lydia Kurtz, Eric Minzola, Kaylee Minzola, Emmett Grebe, Olivia Grebe, Colson Grebe. 9 Great Great grandchildren survive also.
Also surviving, are her sister Dorothy of Virginia, and brother William of Boyds MD. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Leaving behind also is her loving daughter in law Barbara Kurtz of Trappe, PA. Her special nephew, Rev. William Linkchorst who shared many warm and memorable hours with her and Kathy and Bernie Forgatch, friends who spent many hours helping her.
Her Memorial service will be held on October 21, 2017 at 12 am Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11 AM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

---------------------------------------------------------Robert H. “Fritz” Hossler, Sr., 60, of Minersville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday at home.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Charles Hossler, Sr. and the late Alice Umler Hossler. He attended Minersville schools, and was a painter, having last worked for the former Today’s Housing, Shoemakersville.
He enjoyed billiards and fishing, and was a member of the Saint Clair Fish and Game Club. He was a NASCAR fan and followed the Eagles.
Preceding him in death were three siblings, Charles “Butch” Hossler, Jr., Alice Martin and James Hossler.
Bob is survived by his wife, the former Denise Bradley; three children, Robert H. Hossler, Jr., Simpson, Scott Hossler, Frackville, and Rebecca Hossler, Minersville; a granddaughter, Madison Hossler. He is also survived by four siblings, Edward Hossler, Tremont, Harry Hossler, Mount Carmel, William Hossler, Jim Thorpe, and Cindy Wagner, Girardville; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Hossler family on Friday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville. In honor of Fritz, visitors are asked to wear camouflage clothing. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M.

Jeanne Z. McGovern, 66, of Donaldson St., Newtown, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born on July 10, 1951 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Harold "Bill" Zimmerman of Pine Grove and the late Jean Snyder Zimmerman.
She was a 1969 graduate of Pine Grove High School. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church Pine Grove and the H. H. & L. Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
Jeanne worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Fox Knapp in Pine Grove and after that closed she worked at various local diners.

She was preceded in death by a son Edward C. "Ed" McGovern in 2012.
Surviving, in addition to her father, are her husband of 47 years, Charles McGovern; a sister, Wanda Frew and companion Bill McGovern of Tremont, two nephews, Michael Frew and Jamie Frew; a great nephew, Joshua Frew; many cousins.

Mae I. Kocher, 84, of Tremont, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening at the Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg.
Born in Pine Grove, July 12, 1933, a daughter of the late Harry and Anne Shollenberger Zerbe.
Mae was a retired cook, last working at the former Family and Friends Restaurant, Williamstown.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
Mae's entire life revolved around her family. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and knitting.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a grandson, Scott Kocher; two brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are her five children; Karen Thompson (Charlie), South Carolina; Keith Kocher (Diane), Tower City; Kevin Kocher (Debbie), Tremont; Kenneth Kocher (Marie), New York and Karla Kocher, Tremont. Five grandchildren, Kathy Miller, Keith Jr., Phillip and Patrick Kocher and Britani Vance; five great grandchildren, Kyrsten and Kole Miller; Killian, Sloan and Owen Kocher.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 20th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City, with Pastor Annette Shutt. Viewing will be from 10-11 am at the chapel.
