On Wednesday, The Schuylkill Haven Area High School received a threat prompting an investigation.
When the threat was found school officials immediately put the school on lockdown and police were notified.
The threat was found not to be credible and the school was cleared and deemed safe for students.
Late in the afternoon school officials notified parents with the following message "we wish to inform students and parents that the investigation has been completed by law enforcement. We were able to determine who made the threat and that it was not credible. The matter has been resolved, and the building has been deemed safe. We wish to thank everyone for their patience and understanding."
The person found to be responsible will be charged to the fullest extent of the law, according to Police.
