The event will be held at the Ramada Inn (formerly known as PorterHouse Grill) on 101 S. Progress Avenue in Pottsville. The local Pottsville community will be presented with patriotic songs, Gillingham student recitations, art displays and a hot food and bake sale.
“We proudly honor the men and women who have served in the military in the past and those who currently serve. Gillingham wants to thank them personally for their service and formally invite everyone in the community to come out and support,” stated Tara Cromis, GCS’s Student Life Coordinator.
The Community Veterans Day Celebration is open to all families - this is Gillingham’s 7th year hosting the event.
