A boil water advisory has been issued for Pine Grove Residents starting Wednesday.
According to the Pine Grove Water Department, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at approximately 1:30 PM, a repair was being made to
a water main near on E. Mill Street.
Customers may experience a drop/ loss in water
pressure due to a water leak repair.
A loss in water pressure is a signal of the existence of
conditions that could allow contamination to enter the distribution system through backflow
by back-pressure or back-siphonage.
As a result, there is an increased chance that the
water may contain disease-causing organisms.
The boil water advisory is in effect for all water customers.
They will inform customers when all corrective actions have been completed and when you no longer need to boil your water.
