Around 9:00pm, Wednesday, East Mahanoy Avenue, from 2nd Street to Connerton Road was closed for a reported standoff in the 500 Block of East Mahanoy Avenue.
Girardville Fire is on scene for traffic control.
UPDATE: 10:30PM - East Mahanoy Avenue is now open. One male is in custody and EMS is transporting him from the scene.
