According to the National Weather Service, scattered snow showers will cross Schuylkill County Tuesday afternoon and evening. The high for Tuesday actually occurred early Tuesday so temperatures will drop throughout the day.
Brief heavier snow squalls are also expected late Tuesday.
More snow showers and gusty winds will move in overnight and into Wednesday with a light accumulations expected. Snow may become heavier in times when the winds calm late Wednesday and into Thursday.
A coating to an inch of snow is expected.
