According to the Mahanoy City Police, Alexander Cann, 25, of Hazle Township and Charles Valerio, 19, of Brooklyn were taken into custody in the 700 Block of West Centre Street around 8:30pm.
Heroin, methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia were found during the stop.
Cann was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI. Cann was committed to Schuylkill Count Prison on $40,000 straight cash bail.
Valerio was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin & marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia and committed to prison on $50,000 straight cash bail
