Around 1:45pm, emergency personnel were called to the area of Route 61 and Union Street in Pottsville for a motor vehicle accident. One of the vehicles in the accident were reported to be on fire.
As of 2:00pm, Route 61 was closed near the accident.
All victims were reported to have been out of the vehicle(s). The extent of injuries is unknown.
UPDATE (2:25PM) - Traffic was reported to be open in both directions in the area of the accident.
