Olivetta M. "Jerry" Shilcusky, 83, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, January 14th, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, where she had been a resident.
Born in Saint Clair on October 12, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Robert & Estelle (Gaffney) McDonald.
She was the wife of James C. Shilcusky.
Jerry was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, and had worked in the business office at Kane Steel.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Patricia Andrescavage, Royersford, three grandchildren; Kelsi & Ali Andrescavage, and Asillian Shilcusky, and a brother, Robert McDonald, Orwigsburg.
In addition to her parents, Jerry is also preceded in death by her son, Jamie Shilcusky.
Friends are invited to attend a Catholic Memorial Service at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik on Thursday, January 18.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
Family request donations in Jerry's memory to St. Ambrose Church Memorial Fund, 201 Randel Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
Interment will follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Harold R. Rehrig, 88, of Elm Street, Tamaqua, PA died on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Coaldale, PA.
Harold R. Rehrig, 88, of Elm Street, Tamaqua, PA died on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Coaldale, PA.
He was the husband of Irene (nee Gregus) Rehrig to whom he was married 63 years Augsut 28, 2017.
Born in Tamaqua on November 11, 1929, Harold was a son of the late William and Sally (nee Sherry) Rehrig.
A 1949 graduate of Tamaqua High School, he worked as a mason for Schuylkill Masonry, Pottsville, PA before retirement. Harold was a member of The Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua.
In addition to his wife Irene, he is survived by a daughter, Michelle Fritz and her husband Gary of Coaldale.
Graveside services will be held at 11: 00 AM on Friday, January 18 in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA.

Charles L. Sterner, 88, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading.
Born April 11, 1929, in New Ringgold, to the late Levi and Ida (Bachert) Sterner.
Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Christ Church Mckeansburg, New Ringgold. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge 138 for over 50 years, Pine Valley and DD Schall Hunting Camps.
Charlie was a man of many talents. He owned his own general contracting company for over 40 years, enjoyed carpentry work, hunting and fishing. He was a Boy Scout Leader for 15 years, coached little league, and was an umpire for several years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Clarence and Levi Jr. Sterner, sisters, Eleanor Tribulla and Eva Gaston
Charlie is survived by his wife of 66 years (September 22, 1951), Mary L. (Ryland) Sterner; son, Kerry Sterner husband of Lori; daughter, Luann Boudreaux wife of Danny; grandchildren, Crystal Bubeck wife of Erik, Kyle Sterner, Justin Boudreaux, and Alexis Sterner; brother, Raymond Sterner; and sister Mable Scheifstumpf.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Christ Church Mckeansburg, 1751 Chestnut St., New Ringgold with the Rev. Sunny Stock officiating. Family and friends are invited to call at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Private interment will be held at Friedens Lutheran Cemetery. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Clayton H. Edwards, 73, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg.
Born in Allentown, on September 19, 1944, he was a son of the late Edith M. (Paul) and Clayton D. Edwards.
He was a 1963 graduate of Pottsville High School and a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church Pottsville.
Clayton proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam era.
He was a master tradesman and worked as a maintenance supervisor at Agere for 38 years, retiring in 2001.
Clayton was a member of the 2nd Mountain Rod and Gun Club and the Cotton Club, both where he played on the pool leagues.
He was a musician and played worship music for various churches. In the 1960-70's he was a disguinshed guitar player for multiple Rock & Roll Bands.
In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by a son, Paul, granddaughter, Victoria; brothers: James, Robert, and Glen Edwards; sisters: Lorraine Heffner and Lois Quick.
Clayton is survived by his wife, Loretta E. (Warner) Edwards, to whom she was married 53 years; a son, Clayton D. Edwards, husband of Michelle, of San Diego, CA; a daughter, Marlene M. Hohman, wife of Chris, of Pottsville; grandchildren: Christopher and Hannah Hohman and Abagail Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with Msgr. Edward J. O'Connor officiating. A viewing will be held at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. until procession will leave for church.

James J. Hampford, III, 66, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, Reading.
Born in Pottsville, on August 14, 1951, he was a son of the late Kathleen A. (O'Connor) and James J. Hampford, Jr.
He was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School and a member of St. Patrick R.C.C., Pottsville.
Jim worked for the Schuylkill County Communications Center as a supervisor for 25 years, retiring in 2013. He was a very involved volunteer in the Pottsville community, where he belonged to the Emergency Management Agency and was a forest fire warden. He was a fixture for decades in the fire service, emergency medical services, and emergency management. This past month, Jim was named Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Pottsville.
He was a member of Yorkville Hose and Llewellyn Good Intent Hose Companies.
Jim was a train enthusiast and was fascinated with the military. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons watching the helicoptors at Indiantown Gap.
He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Hampford in 1972 and his mother, Kathleen A. Hampford
in 2017.
Jim is survived by his wife, Diane (Lowthert) to whom he was married 36 years; children: Brett R. Jones, husband of Paula, of Pottsville ; Alison D. Bierman, wife of Kevin, of Pottsville; and Sean J. Hampford, husband of Stephanie, of Ephrata, PA; brother, Edward "Ned" Hampford, husband of Tammie, of Pottsville; sisters: Kathleen Hampford, of Pottsville; Karen Hampford, of Yonker, NY; and Betsy Taylor, of Harrisburg; grandchildren: Aidan, Emma, Elizabeth, Colton, Brady, and Everly; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 19th, at 11:00 a.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville with Greg Hafer officiating. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.

Ralph H. "Jim" Imschweiler, Jr., 90, of Pottsville, formerly of Pine Grove and Tremont, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at The Garden at York Terrace.
Born on August 1, 1927 in Tremont, he was a son of the late Ralph H. Sr. and Pauline Gemberling Imschweiler.
He attended Tremont Schools until his junior year when he transferred and graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Army and served in Germany during WWII. He was a member of the 9th Infantry Division and received the Army of Occupation Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. When he returned from the
Army, he entered Temple University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
Jim joined his father upon graduation and was co-owner of the Tremont Hardware until it was sold in 1975. In 1962, Jim started, and was owner/president of the Eastern Shooters Distributors, Inc., Tremont. He was also a former owner of the Echo Valley Pool and owned a tree farm.
He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pottsville, was former president of the Tremont National Bank, former president and board member of the PA and Atlantic Seaboard Hardware Association, member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Businessmen, member of Tremont Fire Company, an Elk with membership in the Pottsville chapter of the Benevolent and Protector of Elks.
Preceding him in death was his wife Carol Moore Imschweiler, a daughter, Kim Imschweiler, a sister, Patricia MacFarlane.
Surviving are a daughter, Robin Imschweiler of Valatie, N.Y.; a grandson, Jeremiah Rawlins, four great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Episcopal Chapel Annex at Charles Baber Cemetery, 14th and W. Market St., Pottsville. Interment will be in the Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 200 S. Second St., Pottsville, Pa. 17901 in his memory.
