Man Arrested After Domestic Disturbance
The West Mahanoy Township Police Department have arrested an individual as a result of a domestic disturbance in the Lost Creek Section of the Township on 01/08/18.
Police were alerted to the incident after it had occurred, and the victim of an assault escaped.
As a result of the incident, Brian Andrewsky, Lost Creek, was taken into custody.
Andrewsky was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post bail.
Andrewsky will have to answer to charges of Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Terroristic Threats, Unlawful Restraint, and Harassment before Magisterial District Judge James Kilker, Shenandoah.

Woman Facing Charges for Writing Bad Checks
The West Mahanoy Township Police Department has filed charges relating to an investigation into a report of a bad check passed in the Altamont Section of the Township.
Police received a report from a local business that an individual failed to pay for services rendered, even after receiving multiple notices to do so.
Melodie Wildermuth, Pottsville, will have to answer to a charge of Bad Checks before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville

Woman Charged for Stealing Items from Cars
Saint Clair Police received a report on 01/08/2018 @ 2:00AM of female entering parked vehicles in the East Mines neighborhood.
When confronted by a citizen, the female fled.
Officers arrived and after a
search of the area, the female was located in the East Mines.
Police identified the suspect as Kimberly Jean
Scanlan.
Police recovered the items Scanlan removed from
several vehicles
Scanlan will face charges of Theft From A Motor Vehicle.
