On Thursday, the parade's official web site, http://www.girardvilleirishparade.com, was updated with parade information including the 2018 Grand Marshall.
This year, chairman of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and former U.S. Representative Tim Holden will hold the honors.
Holden is a former Schuylkill County Sheriff and served as Representative of the 17th Congressional District from 1993 until 2013.
This year's parade is scheduled for March 24th, 2018 at Noon.
