Knoebels to Host Annual Job Fair

On Saturday, March 3, Knoebels will host its annual job fair from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Elysburg Fire Hall, 1 E. Mill St., Elysburg.

According to Jon Anderson, Knoebels’ Human Resources Director, Knoebels is hoping to fill 800 new seasonal positions. “Attending the job fair is a great opportunity to meet your potential manager face-to-face, and get a good understanding of what each job entails,” said Anderson. “Some attendees arrive with a specific position in mind, but then see the variety of positions available and end up joining a team they didn’t know existed prior to the job fair. It’s great to be able to hire team members in areas of genuine interest that they will find fulfilling.”

In addition to chatting with reps from each department, attendees can complete an application, schedule an interview, and learn more about team member perks, such as:

· Free entry to 15 parks

· Team member-only events

· Paycheck stuffers (food coupons, ride tickets, etc.)

· 25% off in-park food (using team member dinner dollars)

· 25% off ride tickets

· 10% off meals at Nickle Plate Bar & Grill

· Special rates at Three Ponds Golf Course

· Knoebels Scholarship Program for school aged team members

Knoebels offers a competitive wage for both new and returning team members. Specific pay rates vary by job function, and team members can qualify for a raise each returning season. While Knoebels is primarily seeking team members aged 16 and older, there are a limited number of positions available for 14 and 15 year olds. Team members 16 years of age and older can expect a starting hourly rate that is above minimum wage. School aged workers are required to have working papers when hired.
