Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Hegins Hubley Elementary School over the weekend.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the burglary occurred Sunday morning around 2:00am to 2:15am.
Police say 2 unknown suspects (male or female) forced their way into the Hegins-Hubley Elementary Center, located at 1801 West Main Street, Hegins Township near Valley View by breaking a window.
The suspects were dressed in black hood sweatshirts, dark pants, gloves, black hats, backpacks, with bandanas covering their faces. They then left the school by prying open a door with a pry bar they had in one of their backpacks. They then fled in an unknown direction.
The Pennsylvania State Police K9 unit was requested to sweep the school. It's unknown if anything was stolen.
