Emma J. Leibig, 79 of Ashland passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with her loving family by her side at Mountain View Manor,Coal Twp.,PA where she was a guest for the past four years.
Emma was born September 25, 1938 in Pottsville, PA to the late Harry and Viola Essler Weist. Emma was the last surviving of six siblings. She was originally from the Mount Hope area of Pottsville and moved to Ashland when she married Walter L. Leibig, February 16, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her husband, December 20, 1992 and her daughter, Debrene L. Leibig, September 28, 1981.
Surviving are her son: Robin Leibig husband of Sandra of Ashland, PA. Daughter: Lori Leibig of Shamokin, PA. Grandchildren: Robert Jones of Barnesville, PA; Kelly Leibig-Lynch wife of Jason of Shamokin, PA; Michael Leibig husband of Jessica of Ashland, PA; Kaila McManus of Shamokin, PA. Great grandchildren: Zarry Bade, Colton Lynch, Logan & Lucas Leibig, Reyghan & Rhyley Fellin, who were the light of her life. Emma will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

John Melley, 71, of Tamaqua, PA died on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in Bethlehem, PA.
Born in Coaldale, PA on September, 19, 1946, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Mary Theresa (nee Goeser) Melley. A 1964 graduate of Marian High School, Hometown, PA, John earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the Manhattan School of Music in 1971.
For 38 years he was the organist for St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Clair, PA and also taught guitar, piano, vocal, and organ from his home. John was a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, the American Music Scholarship Association, and The Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua. He loved music, the community, and had a passion for passing on the knowledge of music to his students.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, John was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Melley in 1991.
Services are private. Memorials in his name may be made to The Parish of St. John XXIII, 266 West Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252. Online condolences may be made at www.zgfuneralhome.com. Born on September 13, 1933 in Pine Grove Twp, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Lillie Sherman Schwartz.
She was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Preceding her in death were her husband Bruce F. "Whitey" Fehr, Sr. and a son, Bruce F. Fehr, Jr.
Surviving are three daughters, Lori Fehr Moyer of Harrisburg, Staci Fehr, Tricia Fehr, both of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Bruce Fehr, III, Ashley Fehr, and Jenna St. Clair.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Hetzel's Lutheran Church, 233 Hetzel's Church Rd., Pine Grove, Pa. with Pastor Jason Stump officiating. There will be a viewing on Monday, February 26 , 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the Church. Interment will follow in Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Hetzel's Lutheran Church, 233 Hetzel's Church Rd., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Pine Grove.
Ginny worked in the restaurant business her entire life. She previously owned the former Dizzy Blonds Airport Restaurant, Pine Grove. She worked at numerous restaurants as a waitress including Esther's and Heisey's.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Rehrer, 1978 and James Rehrer, 2015; a brother, Glenn Mars.
Ginny enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed taking trips to the casino. Ginny had a "gift" of talking, she always was willing to talk to anyone and everyone.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Ernest C. Rehrer; three children, Donna Miller, Joliett; Ricky Rehrer, Tremont and Lisa Shoffler (Larry), Pine Grove; two sisters, Joan Jordan, Palmyra and Kathleen "Kitty" Klinger, Hegins; her grandchildren, Robert Miller III, Billie Jo Miller,Barbara Wolf, Samantha Demanczyk and Seth Shoffler; great grandchildren, Tyler, Robert, Kyra, Jason, Chloe, John Jr., Kadence; great great grandchildren, Jayce and Isabella.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26th at 11:00 am from St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Pine Grove with Rev. Dr. Ira Lydic. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the church.
