Born in Pottsville, PA on December 22, 1956, he was the son of the late Phillip L. and Violet (Dombrosky) Minchoff, Sr.
Charlie was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1975. He owned and operated Minchoff Fuel Oil, Inc. in Schuylkill Haven for over 20 years. Charlie loved fishing, going to the beach, boating, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debbie A. (Straka) Minchoff, Schuylkill Haven; two sons Charles A. Minchoff, Jr. and his wife Amy, Lake Wynonah and Phillip A. Minchoff and his wife Mansi, Litiz; a granddaughter Elizabeth Minchoff; three grandsons: Dominic, Nikhil, and Dhilan Minchoff. three brothers: Joseph L. Minchoff, Cumbola, Phillip L. Minchoff, Jr. and his wife Dorothy, Tumbling Run, and James J. Minchoff, Port Carbon; and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon at 11AM on Friday, February 9th, with Rev. Ronald Minner officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday eveing from 6-8PM and Friday morning from 10-11AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held private.

Michael Thomas Hosak, 69, of Penn Drive, West Penn Township, PA, died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at home.
Michael Thomas Hosak, 69, of Penn Drive, West Penn Township, PA, died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at home.
He was the husband of Priscilla (nee Patrick) Hosak to whom he was married 49 years.
Born in Coaldale, PA on October 17, 1948, Mike was the son of the late Michael Hosak, Sr. and Mary (nee Kozi) Hosak. A 1966 graduate of Marian High School, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Penn State University in 1970. Mike was the general manager and later owner of the Hosak Pontiac dealership in Lansford, PA and then in Tamaqua, PA where the dealership relocated in1983. He was a member of The Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua; the American Hose Company, Tamaqua; the Tamaqua Elks Lodge; and a social member of the Leighton American Legion.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by daughter, Pamela Ann Polakovic and her husband Marty of West Penn Township; son, Michael T. Hosak, Jr. and his wife Allison of Macungie, PA; grandchildren, Ethan Hosak, Lucas Hosak, and Nicholas Polakovic; and sister, Maryann Hosak of Summit Hill, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, February 9 in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 307 Pine Street, Tamaqua.
Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. Call 6-8 PM on Thursday at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua and 9-10 AM on Friday in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 South Railroad Street, Tamaqua PA 18252 or St. Jerome Regional School, 250 West Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252.
