Man Faces DUI Charges

Hegins Township Police Department have charged John Woloszyn, 48, of Binghamton, New York with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Careless Driving, and Reckless Driving against .

On 02/0/18, Police received dispatch to the 1900 block of E. Main Street for the report of a blue Chevrolet truck with a New York license plate driving erratically. 

Police received additional information that the truck nearly struck several vehicles including a school bus. 

The driver, identified as Woloszyn, was determined to be under the influence of alcohol.

Woloszyn told police that he was driving from New York to Virginia. Woloszyn was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer who set bail set at $5,000. Woloszyn was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison but has posted bail as of 02/07/18.
