Martha B. Jones, 97, of Mahanoy City, passed away Saturday, March 24th, at The Gardens at York Terrace Pottsville.

Martha was born in Mahanoy City, PA on August 17, 1920, a daughter of the late Mary (Coombe) and Elmer Bradbury.

She was a member of Church of the Nazarene Lavelle.

Martha worked as a secretary in the healthcare industry.

She was the widow of Morgan Llewllyn Jones.

Martha is survived by two sons Morgan, Fiancé Sharon Stone, of Ashland; Thomas, husband of Betty, of Winston Salem NC;

Martha is also survived by a brother, David, husband of Hazel Bradbury, of Mahanoy City.

She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday 5 to 7 PM at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. .

Interment will be private at Skyview Memorial Park Tamaqua, PA.

Bette L. Kerner, 89, of Locustdale,PA passed away Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at Broad Mt. Manor Nursing & Rehab., Frackville, PA
Born in Locustdale November 25,1928 the daughter of the late Roy and Thelma (Heffner) Kerner. She was a member of Christ Congregational Church, Locustdale. Preceding her in death was a brother Roy Kerner. Surviving are a sister Shirley Wehry of Locustdale and sister-in-law Cheryl
Schultz of Locustdale.
Funeral Services will be held at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 28th, with Rev. Rose Marquardt officiating. Interment at Brock Cemetery Ashland, PA.
