A Mary D man was killed in a 3 vehicle crash on Route 309 Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred around 9:00am in West Penn Township on Route 309 near the intersection with Blue Mountain Drive.
According to authorities, Nicholas Sadusky, 19, of Mary D was heading south on Route 309 in a Ford Mustang when for unknown reasons, he crossed into northbound traffic and struck the side of a vehicle. Sadusky then continued south in the northbound lanes and struck another vehicle head on.
Sadusky died at the scene of the crash and pronounced dead at the scene at 10:20am by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak.
The driver of the vehicle hit head on was flown to an area hospital for their injuries while the driver of the first vehicle struck was taken by ambulance.
Route 309 was closed while the crash was investigated and cleared.
West Penn Township Police are investigating.
This will make two fatal crashes on Route 309 in West Penn Township since Sunday.
