The body of a man was discovered near Frackville on Wednesday.

According to authorities, the body of a man was discovered in a marshy area near Frackville’s sewage treatment plant, in Butler Township, Wednesday afternoon around 1:30pm.
Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak was called to the scene where the man was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released pending the family’s notification.
No foul play is suspected.
The West End Dive Team from Mahanoy City assisted in the recovery.
