George J. Lipshaw, Sr., age 81, of Port Carbon, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at Seton Manor Nursing Home, Orwigsburg.
Born in Port Carbon, PA on December 21, 1936, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Kero) Lipshaw.
George worked as a truck driver for the Brokhoff Dairy in Tumbling Run and then for the Lehigh Valley Dairy in Schuylkill Haven.
George was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Philomena M. (Tobin) Lipshaw on December 19, 2016, his daughter Eileen Sheehan on December 7, 2017, two brothers: John Libzok and Nicholas Lipshaw, and five sisters: Mary Drabulski, Cahterine Markowitz, Ann Tarris, Helen Stauffer, and Martha Galavage.
George is survived by three sons: George Lipshaw Jr. and his wife Janet, David Lipshaw and his wife Christine, and Scott Lipshaw and his wife Kelly and a son-in-law James Sheehan, all of Port Carbon; six grandchildren: Brandon Sheehan, Collegeville, Lauren Sheehan, Pottsville, Reba Lipshaw, Port Carbon, Cheyan Lipshaw, Pottsville, and Devin and Kaylin Lipshaw, Port Carbon; three great-grandchildren: Colin and Ryan Sheehan and Carson Skrobak; and nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be held private.

Anna M. Panchari, 100, of Seltzer, Norwegian Township, passed away on Saturday at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Seltzer, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Petrenella Banket Zebertavage. She attended the former St. Francis Parochial School, Minersville.
She was a member of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church, Minersville, where she was active in the Ladies’ Sodality and the Choir. She was also a member of the Our Lady of Siluva Choir and was a Fourth Degree Knight of Lithuania. She had been a member of the former Seltzer Hose Company Auxiliary.
She was a current member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Panchari, on August 2, 1963; three siblings, Anthony Zebertavage, Helen Harris and Margaret Lengle.
Anna is survived by three children, Mary Ann Nicolo, Wilkes-Barre, Anthony Panchari, Seltzer, and Theresa Wenner (spouse, Thomas), Nashville, Tennessee; ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Joseph Zebertavage, Reading; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. and on Friday from 6:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 A.M. in St. Michael Church, 539 Sunbury Street, Minersville. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Branch Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Michael the Archangel Church Memorial Fund or to Compassionate Care Hospice, 248 E. Chestnut Hill Rd., Suite 4, Newark, DE 19713.

Leroy J. Witman, 70, of Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, March 30th, at his residence.
Leroy was the husband of Sandra L. (Long) Witman.
